Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Correctly Hired (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service is provided and sold by Correctly Hired ("we", "us"). You can contact us at support@correctlyhired.com.

1. The Service

Correctly Hired is a browser extension and web dashboard that reads candidate profile or proposal text visible in your own authenticated browser session and produces an AI-generated technical audit scored against criteria you configure. The Service assists your hiring judgment; it does not make hiring decisions for you.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and your API access token, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

The extension reads only information already visible in your own authenticated session. You agree to use the Service responsibly, at a human pace, and in compliance with the terms of any third-party marketplace or service you use it alongside. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and its output.

4. Third-Party Platform Terms & Account Risk

Please read this section carefully. The Service is used alongside third-party freelance marketplaces including, without limitation, Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, and Freelancer.com. Several of these platforms explicitly restrict automated data collection, scraping, or programmatic modification of their pages in their own User Agreements or Terms of Service.

You assume absolute and sole responsibility for, and all operational risks associated with, using this Service and its browser extension on your authenticated accounts on any third-party platform. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the terms of every platform you use the Service alongside.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Correctly Hired shall not be liable for any account warnings, behavioral flagging, rate limiting, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans issued to you by Upwork, Fiverr, Toptal, Freelancer.com, or any other third-party platform, arising from or related to your use of the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.

5. Credits & Billing

Audits consume prepaid credits. Our order process and payments are conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle handles all payment processing, billing, sales tax/VAT, and order-related inquiries and refunds. Charges will appear on your statement as "Paddle." Credits do not expire, and purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

6. AI Output & Disclaimers

Audit results are automated assessments provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular hiring decision. You are responsible for independently verifying candidates and complying with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Correctly Hired and protected by applicable laws. You retain ownership of the criteria and candidate text you submit.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Correctly Hired shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
